Last Friday I went to my friend's apartment. We ate, I made sangria, and she wanted me to draw something in her empty walls. She saw a sketch I just finished and said that was what she wanted.
So I opened my sharpies and started drawing. I love making art. I think it's one of the things that gives me strength and keeps me calm. In my darkest and shiniest moments I feel better just scribbling on a coaster. This time I had a whole wall. Thank you Skye. You are awesome. Go to my FB page to see more pictures! Last Saturday I had the honor to participate with three of my pieces in the Art For Autism Fundraiser at El Fogon, All proceeds will go to Autism Speaks and Parents Of Autistic Children, two great organizations.
Here you see some of the people who came to support, the group of artist that donated their pieces, and on the right, the little lady that got my artwork during the fundraiser and her with the artwork already hanged up in her room. It was an amazing experience for all of us! Thanks Ed Alvarez for the pictures! The Bronx Council on the Arts and the Huntington Free Library present

Their food is amazing and I finally found a place in Ny where I can have real Spanish Chocolate to dip freshly made churros.
I just love drawing words, and this job was a real pleasure!! |
